In this article, we are discussing the types of caulk and which one is the best among the types.
Basic types of caulk you should be heard of - Latex and Silicone. But they are not all. You can find other types of caulks as well.

1. Acrylic Latex Caulk
2. Vinyl Latex Caulk
3. Acrylic Tile Sealant
4. Siliconized Acrylic Sealant
5. Raw Silicone Caulk
6. Concentrated Silicone Caulk
7. Adhesive Caulk made with Mixture
8. Fireproof Tactile Caulk
and bla bla bla!
You will find almost 20 types of caulk in the market naming differently. But why they are different and why should you care about them?
Well, these distinctions come in handy for professionals as they need the best finish with their work and they need sustainable things to apply. If you use the same type of sealant in wood, tile, iron, plastic, and vinyl, it is obvious that the caulk will not sustain in most of the materials.
Say, for example, caulks made for tile are different than the caulks for the window. Since their application is different and the surface material is also not the same. You can't put latex caulks into the silicone caulks.
